Tom is still alive

It's all been very quiet for a long time, but despite appearances, Tom has not vanished off the face of the earth. So a quick update:

Still pedalling

Maybe second albums deserve their "difficult" reputation - this one has certainly taken longer to record than expected. But all the recording is now officially complete, and mixing is underway. This too could take a while, and still to come are mastering and design of the package - but it should all be done in the next three or four months.

The plan is to release the CD on Tom's new label, Red Pen Records, and get it into the shops later this year. Much more on this will follow.

Other bands

Tom currently plays keyboards and cello in two other bands. Grant Gordon's I, Thalamus will be releasing an album in the summer, with a tour to promote it: dates will be posted here when they're confirmed.

Sparker is a Brighton-based band which now also has its own website.

Broadjam

The broadjam charts have continued to feature songs from Empty Mirror - days of blue made it as high as #4 before it returned to obscurity, and you has regularly been in and out of the "folk/alternative" top ten.

Thank you for your support.
